Profhilo is a non-surgical injectable treatment that tightens, moisturises and strengthens the skin when it is injected across strategic points. Once the high strength hyaluronic acid has been injected into the skin, it will gradually disperse and migrate from the injection site, providing structural support and hydration across a wider area. Once settled, the advanced formulation kickstarts a skin remodelling process by rebooting the body’s ability to generate elastin and collagen proteins. The treatment is divided into 2 injectable treatment sessions that enhance the area being treated. Following these treatment sessions, patients will notice a visible improvement in skin texture and tightness around 1 month after the final session, as collagen and elastin stores are revitalised.
Profhilo is ideal for hydrating, smoothing and strengthening skin across a wide range of areas like the face, neck, arms, knees, hands and décolletage. Its skin tightening properties redefine loose and sagging skin while smoothing out the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles thanks to its deeply hydrating and nourishing formulation. Profhilo’s ultra-pure hyaluronic acid structure helps attract and maintain water levels in the deepest layers of the skin, while renewing fresh collagen and elastin stores. The treatment is divided into two to three treatment sessions, 4-6 weeks apart with maintenance treatments as required, but approximately twice a year.
The product distributes itself evenly under the skin. Due to the high concentration of hyaluronic acid, only a few strategic injection points are needed on each side of the face, making the treatment more comfortable for patients, whilst maximizing the uplifting effect.
No. You may experience some slight swelling or bruising at the site of the injections but these should be minor and can be easily covered with mineral make-up.
Profhilo has little to no side effects. Common Profhilo side effects may include light swelling of the skin, redness or bruising, and soreness. These post-treatment effects will usually subside in 48 hours . However, if you are experiencing any of these side effects after ten days since you had your procedure, please contact your Profhilo practitioner for further aftercare advice.
