Radiesse is a FDA approved product and the key ingredient is calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) microspheres suspended in a special gel matrix. Over time, the gel is absorbed, and the CaHA particles stimulate the production of collagen, the protein responsible for giving skin its strength and elasticity, for sustained results.

You will notice an immediate lifting, tightening and volumising effect with visible rejuvenation. After treatment Radiesse will continue to stimulate collagen, giving progressive and long-lasting results.

As with any injection, you may experience some slight redness or minor bruising around the treatment areas. After injection, you may experience redness, bruising, swelling or other local side effects. Most side effects of treatment resolve within a few days.

Both treatments involve injections, but botulinum toxin relaxes muscle movement that results in wrinkles while Radiesse temporarily adds volume to help smooth moderate to severe facial wrinkles and give skin an immediate lifting and contouring effect.
