We recently had the pleasure of welcoming Clara Francis into our London clinic for her first Ultherapy treatment.
Like most people, Clara didn’t want anything that was too invasive, she wasn’t quite ready for anything involving needles. Ultherapy appealed to her as it won’t change her appearance or affect the movement in her face at all; “It will just lift it and make it look a little bit tighter, like it probably was ten years ago!”
Clara is turning 50 soon and is generally happy with how she looks, however she feels that there are areas of her face that are showing signs of ageing. Clara did some research and found out about Ultherapy after a friend of hers had it done. “I didn’t know she’d had anything done! She just looked fresher.” Clara didn’t want anything that would change her face drastically and said; “Ultherapy is perfect because it’s really subtle but with really great results.”
Ultherapy is a completely non-invasive procedure with no downtime, so you can get back to your normal day to day activities right after leaving the clinic.
Ultherapy uses micro-focused ultrasound technology to target layers deep beneath the skin, which in turn improves lines, wrinkles and sagging skin on the face, neck and chest. It also helps to produce more collagen and elastin which results in firmer looking skin. One treatment takes approximately 60 minutes and results last 12-18 months.
The best results are seen at around three to six months after treatment as new collagen builds, gradually lifting the skin and can last anything up to a year to 18 months or so dependent on the age and lifestyle of the patient.
You can find out more about Clara’s experience with Ultherapy in the video below.
The Cosmetic Skin Clinic is the No.1 Ultherapy Ultra Premier Treatment Provider for the UK and Europe for the sixth consecutive year, which means you can be confident that you are in experienced, safe and trusted hands.
Frequently asked questions about Ultherapy:
What can Ultherapy be used for? Ultherapy is a non-invasive treatment that can help treat sagging skin, jowls, skin laxity, ‘turkey neck’, drooping eyelids and improve the lines and wrinkles on the décolletage.
Does Ultherapy work on the eyes? Ultherapy is FDA cleared for use on the face, neck, décolletage and the eyes. The ultra-sound treatment stimulates the production of new collagen and elastin deep within the skin, kick-starting the body’s own repair process, creating a lifted effect. When used on the brow, it can lift and tighten the skin on the brow, creating a non-surgical eyelift.
Can men have Ultherapy? Yes, of course! Ultherapy is ideal for both men and women.
Am I a good candidate for Ultherapy? If you have mild to moderate skin laxity and the skin is starting to look less firm or tight, for example, loose skin on the neck, sagging under the chin, and lines and wrinkles on the chest, Ultherapy will give a natural, gradual lift leaving you looking refreshed.
