Think EMSculpt sounds too good to be true? A brief guide from our team at The Cosmetic Skin Clinic

When you are looking for a way to resculpt your figure, you may feel as though you are a kid in a candy store.

In the ever-expanding area of affordable cosmetic treatments, there is a myriad of options to choose from, meaning you may feel a bit puzzled about which procedure is the best one for you.

Of course, many people who are looking for a way to add definition and contour to their bodies are hoping to do so in a way that is simple and comfortable. And, most importantly, these procedures have to be able to produce real results.

So, if you are searching for a way to tone your muscles to improve the ones you have earned at the gym, there is a treatment that can help you to achieve this without surgery.

Emsculpt in London is a relatively new procedure that is growing in popularity. At the Cosmetic Skin Clinic, we are pleased to be able to offer suitable clients this procedure, to help them achieve the body of their dreams. Simple, affordable and pain-free, this treatment is the perfect way to add definition to your muscles, while also having fat-burning properties. Brilliant!

If you are like many people, you may be sceptical of these claims. Not to worry! Our team at The Cosmetic Skin Clinic has condensed everything you need to know about Emsculpt in London into the following guide. Enjoy!

The procedure

When you come to us at the Cosmetic Skin Clinic for Emsculpt in London, our team will initially assess you and ask questions regarding your overall health.

As this procedure is not recommended for people who have certain health conditions, we need to ensure that you are in good health before undertaking it.

If you are deemed a suitable candidate for this treatment, our team will perform the treatment by fixing a paddle over the area to be treated, which will gently use electromagnetic waves to create muscular contractions in the desired areas. This is a course of 4 treatments spaced over 2 consecutive weeks.

This process can take up to 30 minutes, allowing you to read a magazine or listen to music in the interim. It is not uncomfortable but you will feel a degree of muscle contraction; this is normal.

Post-treatment

Once your session is completed, you are free to go about your day as you would normally. One of the key benefits of this treatment is that there is no downtime required!

However, if you want to maintain the effects of the treatment long-term, we advise that you keep up with a workout regime and eat a healthy, varied diet.

Repeat or not?

Many of our clients undertake more than one treatment with us at The Cosmetic Skin Clinic, and if you decide you would like to undergo this procedure a second time, we would advise spacing the treatments at about 6 months apart.

Incidentally, this is how long the toning effects of the body sculpting machine often last before they begin to fade. And, as there is no anaesthetic or downtime to worry about!
