Thermage – Face ironing…

In a recent edition of Grazia magazine, beauty editors focus on the emerging celebrity trend of non-surgical ‘face ironing.’ In a summer edition, the magazine focused on how Kim Kardashian has been exploring wrinkle-fighting treatments that use stimulating heat energy to stimulate collagen reproduction, with the catchy headline ‘Kim gets to grips with ironing!’ (August 25th edition).

‘Face Ironing’ Beauty Trend – Grazia

Grazia reported recently that Thermage was the latest addition to Kim Kardashian’s arsenal of youthifying treatments. In the article, it was reported that ‘face-ironing’ is the latest beauty must-have ‘the holy grail of wrinkle fighting’ which is fast becoming a new trend in achieving and acquiring tighter more lifted skin. It seems non-invasive treatments are on the radar of many ‘high profile’ celebrities today who are looking for a very natural cosmetic enhancement.

Thermage is reportedly popular with A-Listers such as Gwyneth Paltrow, Demi Moore & Linda Evangelista and it is now rumoured that Kim Kardashian has discovered Thermage, who is also known to have a preference for non-invasive treatments. Thermage was recently featured  in The Times with ‘How To Spend It’  Editor- Gillian De Bono who was very pleased with her treatment at The Cosmetic Skin Clinic.

Celebrity Beauty Secrets – Thermage CPT

In this video Cosmetic Doctor Tracy Mountford describes why celebrities such as Gwyneth Paltrow have turned to Thermage;

“I think they turn to something like Thermage because it’s a very natural look. They’ve gone from that really overdone enhanced look to a very understated look… So why Thermage is appealing is that because it three dimensionally contracts the collagen in the skin very naturally causing that lovely refreshed look… some skin tightening of about half a centimetre all over the face.  That really does make the face more rejuvenated, firmer, lifted, but it doesn’t alter the look and I think that is what is appealing to the celebrity world…” Dr Tracy Mountford, The Cosmetic Skin Clinic

  • Thermage can also treat many areas of the body, including; hands, arms, tummies, bottoms and knees
